About Us

Head Instructor

Legendary Martial Arts Academy is an amazing academy thought up by a Marine Corps Veteran, Joice Washington, to bring structure and physical fitness to todays kids in a fresh way. She has over 20 years experience in Martial Arts, with also more than 10 years experience teaching kids and adults of all ages. Students learn self defense, make friends, stay physically fit and have fun during our Martial Arts classes aimed at kids 3 years old and up.

Character Development

Our programs are designed to set up your students inside and outside our karate school. We not only teach Martial Arts but life skills including: Integrity, Respect, Confidence and SO MUCH MORE! Each week your students will receive a homework sheet helping to reinforce the our lessons each week.

Our martial arts classes will bring your students together and form friendships that will last a lifetime. Your students will be surrounded with kids who will help encourage work together to achieve a common goal.
